About the role:

We have an exciting entry-level position at the Columbia University Fertility Center! We are looking for a chaperone to assist with our daily morning monitoring and join our mission of helping patients build their dream family. This position is part-time and ideal for someone already working/studying in the White Plains area who can commit 3-4 hours Monday-Friday (7am-12pm). There may eventually be an opportunity for the right candidate to take on more hours and grow within the division.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Chaperone physicians in exam rooms.
• Assist in unpacking and restocking supplies.
• Turn over rooms between patients and assist with exam/procedure room maintenance
• Assist with the preparation of paperwork required for monitoring and appointments
• Conforms to applicable HIPAA, Billing compliance and safety guidelines.
• Pregnancy Scans
• Related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of medical office, general office, customer service, or related experience
• Computer experience essential

Please note, the position is with a temp agency and we are looking for someone with availability to work additional hours depending on patient volume.
